52" Span Radio Controlled Electric Pterodactyl Aircraft - Flying Dino Art
The 52" span Pterodactyl is the most popular of the electric Pterodactyl kits, and the most advanced, benefiting from years of design heritage. Flight characteristics are smooth and predictable across a wide range of air speeds.
Kit includes everything except covering material, hardware, and electronics. All wood required is included as well as two full length carbon spars and full size rolled plans.
Same beautiful organic lines as the 80" Pterodactyl, but considerably more complete and less complicated to build. Unlike the 80" model, this kit can be built in a few weeks.
Requires two small outrunner brushless motors (Axi/Atlas 2208 or equal), two 15A controllers, four mini servos and a 2000 mah 3s Li-Poly. Aileron, elevator, rudder and throttle control.
Included in the kit:
Full sized rolled plans (36" x 65" 3-view, high quality plans suitable for building on), 15 laser cut sheets of balsa and lite-ply, two full span carbon fiber tubes and building instructions. All wood and carbon required is included.
Intermediate/advanced building skills are recommended.
