Cessna 182 Skylane Select

See it in the air, and the Skylane design is unmistakable. See it up close, and it's obvious that this Cessna doesn't just set new standards for FlyZone – it's the best in its class! Working LED lights and spring-loaded nose gear only hint at everything this Cessna has to offer. The Cessna's Tactic radio offers single-stick control of rudder and elevator with fingertip control of the throttle! A working shock keeps the nose wheel in constant contact with the runway during taxiing, takeoffs and landings. A steerable nose wheel is linked to the rudder servo for precise ground control.

Transparent, tinted windows provide an additional scale touch. Working navigation and landing lights are pre-installed. The Cessna is sized to make it easier to track in the air, more impressive on the ground and a comfortable fit for most cars and trucks, even when assembled.
Brushless Motor and ESC! A combo that performs better and lasts longer than brushed systems. Offers the control for slow, easy cruising or agile aerobatics – and plenty of power for both! The tail is simple to assemble. Just slide into place – and connect the linkages! Installing – or removing – the wing is as easy as a twist of the quick-release bolts.

Includes balanced 11.1V 1800mAh LiPo Battery and LiPo balancing charger!

Descriptive text: I've had this plane for 3 months and still have not broken front landing gear. Land on the back weels and keep the front gear off ground until it automatically settles down to ground. Plane flies great but larger battery will help on take offs.

Descriptive text: This is a really nice plane, I have had her up a few times and she looks and flies great. Take extra care of the front wheel and change the foam wheel regularly. I also changed the battery (1800) for a (2400), it gives longer flight time and re-inforced the feathered wing tips with plastic.Other than that, it's a solid plane.

    "Very nice looking, but..."

Descriptive text: This is a terrific looking airplane, with great scale detail. That being said, it is underpowered with the supplied battery, requiring a long run for takeoff and it flies very scale. The construction is not very sturdy and the nose gear is fragile – three club members own this plane and all of us have broken the nose gear. The repair is difficult because quite a few parts must be removed for access. If you have a prop strike, the prop doesn’t break, the motor shaft does! Instead of a $5 prop, yo... More details
