MVVS 5.6 / 960 Redliner Outrunner Electric Motor
MVVS electric motors are manufactured to exacting standards by the Modelling Research and Development Centre located in Brno, Czech Republic. The unique design of these motors look like an inrunner motor but they are actually outrunner motors mounted within a stationary case. So now you can get the power of an outrunner with the mounting convenience of an inrunner, without the need for a gearbox.
The motor's power wires are attached to three 3.5mm bullet connectors which are permanently attached to the rear of the outer case. The beauty of this design allows the motor to be mounted in narrow sailplane fuselages where standard outrunner motors with their external wiring could not be used. Now you don't have to worry about motor wires rubbing and possibly shorting against an outrunner's rotating bell.
Sailplane pilots will immediately see the advantage these precision motors have for them, but these motors are also ideal powerplants for other model aircraft, including trainers, 3D aerobatic, and scale warbirds.
