Based on the Zlin Z526A that has been popular since the 60's and 70's, this Great Planes model is a distinctive departure from the many CAPs, Extras and Edges currently found at the flying field. It's similar in looks and performance to the Super Chipmunk, with a sleek profile and the capability for thrilling aerobatics.
Those maneuvers are equally achievable with a 2-stroke or 4-stroke engine or an outrunner brushless motor. The sheeted foam core wing can be built in one or two pieces, and the airfoiled tail surfaces are strong and lightweight.
Our Akrobat features a high-vis, scale MonoKote trim scheme, with decals included for German registration or U.S. "N" numbers.
