New Sebach 32 now shipping

The new Sebach 30E ARF was designed by the 10 times F3A Italian Champion Sebastiano Silvestri. It is a replica of a new full-scale aerobatic plane.

This professional ARTF kit is the result of Sebastiano’s long research and experience in F3A and 3D. This experience, combined with an extremely lightweight all wood airframe structure, gives the Sebach 30E an impressive thrust-to-weight ratio and an impressive precision at any airspeed and flight condition.

The Sebach 30E can do it all—it is ready for any pattern sequence and for unbelievably easy 3D aerobatic maneuvers. Almost anything else you can dream up is waiting for you! The only aerobatic limit is your imagination!

New LIFE Receiver packs are here

LiFe (lithium iron phosphate LiFePO4) offers a lightweight, high energy density battery with more power than NiCd and NiMH receiver batteries provide.
Nominal voltage rating of only 6.6V typically does not require a regulator to power receiver and servos.
Three discharge leads:
Two with Universal Receiver Plugs with 22AWG 5.1" (130mm) long wire these are for models with dual power switches, regulators with redundant inputs, redundant radio systems, or for applications that draw more current than a single plug can safely deliver;
One Discharge Lead with Deans Ultra Female Plug 14AWG 5.1" (130mm) for voltage regulators, power distribution boxes and applications drawing more than 10 amps.

A Great Birthday

I had a great Birthday yesterday and want to thank everyone for all of the good words and well wishes. It is great to be able to connect with both current and old friends and as I am speaking of old yes I am getting there but I do have a special day each year as my daughter Sierra was born on the same day as I.  While there is a great age difference between us what a special treat it is to have someone like Sierra to share the day with.

Being a small business owner who is typically a workaholic,  days off are rare but yesterday I did manage to take 1/2 a day off and after a very early morning trip to the shop I went out to the club sailplane field and met  up with some great friends. I got to fly my Twister 2 DLG sailplane and the lift was just fantastic. On my second trim toss I got a bump at about 8 ft just when I was turning to land and was able to take it back up out of sight. The lift was so good that half way up the climb I flipped it inverted and climbed the rest of the way up. After a hour or so of thermaling the DLG I put it away and got to fly my Electric 3 meter span Pike Perfect. Again the lift was fantastic and the Pike is a real thrill to fly as it is so big and graceful. The lift was so consistent that you could fly all over the field at abut 100 ft and this is a lot of fun with such a big ship. At any time you could climb up out of sight and then make fast passes up and down the field. The sound of a high performance molded sailplane is something to hear.

In the afternoon I took Sierra to get her birthday present. What would any 12 year old little girl want? Yes it was off to the Apple store for a new iPhone 4! and then a ice cream cake, mamas home made cookies and a movie to end the day!

Fantastic day!
