Atlanta Hobby Receives 2009 Best of Business Award

Atlanta Hobby Receives 2009 Best of Business Award

Small Business Association’s Award Honors the Achievement

SAN FRANSICO, November 7, 2009, Atlanta Hobby has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Hobbies category by the Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA)

The Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) is pleased to announce that Atlanta Hobby has been selected for the 2009 Best of Business Award in the Hobbies category.

The SBCA 2009 Award Program recognizes the top 5% of small businesses throughout the country. Using consumer feedback, the SBCA identifies companies that we believe have demonstrated what makes small businesses a vital part of the American economy. The selection committee chooses the award winners from nominees based off information taken from monthly surveys administered by the SBCA, a review of consumer rankings, and other consumer reports. Award winners are a valuable asset to their community and exemplify what makes small businesses great.

About Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA)

Small Business Commerce Association (SBCA) is a San Francisco based organization. The SBCA is a private sector entity that aims to provide tactical guidance with many day to day issues that small business owners face. In addition to our main goal of providing a central repository of small business operational advice; we use consumer feedback to identify companies that exemplify what makes small business a vital part of the American economy.

NEW Atlas DS09 Digital Servo

I just love these new servos!

A total of 140 degrees available, plus 25% programmable by transmitter, means that as much as 175 degrees of throw can be obtained. So these servos not only guarantee as much control throw as you will ever need, but are also perfect for retract and scale hatch installations. Speed is adjustable from 1% to 100%, and 1% is VERY slow indeed.

The New Hyperion ATLAS servos have some rather large advantages compared to other Digital Servos on the market. They are fully programmable for a wide variety of settings, using an inexpensive USB adapter cable. And - considering the huge investment in precision molds and highest quality components Hyperion has made - they are very attractively priced. You may find cheaper Digital Servos, but you won't find a higher value.

Su-34 with 360 Thrust!

We have had the SU-34 in here for a while but the new ones are on the way and thee have full 360 Thrust!

Now with 360 degree thrust vectoring for even wilder stunts - The addition of one more servo and two 360 degree vectored thrust units expands the already amazing flight envelope of the Su-34. High alpha maneuvers are easily controlled and flat spins are crazy.

This is a BIG all molded foam jet with great detail and great performance. Two 64mm fans with two 3500 Kv Outrunner brushless motors and two 45 Amp brushless speed controllers power the big jet. Take offs from a smooth runway or short grass field are quick and the initial thrust will blast the jet nearly straight up.

Available in two colors

The new Micro Crawlers Are Here!

The Micro Rock Crawler RTR is unlike any crawler you’ve ever seen. First, it’s the smallest crawler around. And second, it’s the first Micro vehicle to have a radio system with Spektrum™ 2.4GHz DSM® technology. That means you can run it wherever you want without any interference. It also means you won’t need as many batteries.

Measuring under 6 inches, the Micro Rock Crawler can pretty much crawl anywhere. You can run it on the couch, over your keyboard, and almost any place outside. The 1/24 Micro Rock Crawler RTR—it’s small in size and big on fun.

Needed to Complete: Nothing! Everything is included.

NEW Plane - Feather Duster Was $105.99 Now as low as $69.99

These are a special purchase we made. This aircraft originally sold for $105.99 and is now available for $89.99. Electron members save $20 more and receive free shipping.

The Feather Duster is another great Jeff Gilbert creation that was designed for use with electric power systems.

Its ultra low wing loading allows this aircraft to fly with very little effort. This unique aircraft was manufactured using all laser cut self-jigging parts and is available now as an ARF (Almost Ready to Fly) version which is is mostly prebuilt and can be assembled in just a few hours.

The Feather Duster is a lighter version of the popular Diamond Dust and will perform ultra aggressive maneuvers including 90 degree turns at full throttle. The excellent low speed flight characterestics provide for a large flying envelope.

Click here to see what all of the talk is about.
