Interested in quads or multirotor? Look no further than the DJI Flame Wheel 450 utilizing the DJI Naza multirotor board!  Learning to fly a heli has never been easier with a more than capable platform! Perfect for sport flying or aerial photography use!  The only thing thats going to hold you back will be your imagination!  If your local stop by our shop  @ Atlantahobby.com and ask for Ronnie and I  will demo the Flame Wheel 450 you may even get a opportunity to try it yourself.  If your interestd in purchasing one give us a call and I will be glad to help with any technical questions you may have!  678-513-4450

Below is a video made on 2/12/12, we were testing the Flame Wheel 450 and Naza on a windy day with a Gopro hard mounted right to the frame. Soon we will have the X468 2 axis camera gimbal that is a direct bolt on for the Flame Wheel 450 and Gopro camera

Here are links to the products I used in the video!

Thank's

Ronnie

Hello, thank you in advance for any insight. I've come to your website because it appears that out of all online retailers that sell the Naza F450, you seem the most legitimate and least sketchy to me.

My question is assuming I have absolutely no equipment, would you be able to give me a ballpark estimate of how much it would cost to get one of these guys up in the air?

The ready to fly kit is $459.99 but I will need a transmitter/receiver and battery(s) as well. Would you be able to recommend any specific products so that I have everything I need? Help me out and you've got yourself a customer.

Kind regards,

Robert

Sure,
You would need the RR kit and then you would need to add the following,
Transmitter receiver
You could do it with a DX6 but zI would consider the DX7 for more programming flexibility now and in the future. http://www.atlantahobby.com/Store/pc/DX7s-7-Ch-w-AR8000-514p6599.htm

Battery 3S 2700 Good run time, light weight

Charger
Chargers abound but a nice AC/DC low cost multi chemistry one is here

Thank you very much for your quick response! In addition to the below items that you recommended, is there anything else you can think of that I might need?
  • Flame Wheel F450 RR
  • DX7s 7 Ch w/ AR8000
  • X1 Ultima AC Charger
  • 3S 2700 Battery
  • Deans Ultra W Banana Plugs
  • Deans Ultra M/F
  • Pigtail Ultra Plug Male

By my math, it appears this will bring the grand total up to $900, which doesn't seem to be too unreasonable. Considering I'm an entry-level flyer, is there anything else you think I might need?

Thank you again for your time and help, once I have everything double-checked, I'll put my order in ASAP.

-Robert

That is about it, you will need a soldering gun and very basic tools, A PC to do the programming.

We also offer a Pro building service that is available in the related items tab

Thank you very much again. I'm getting more and more excited!

Last question before I pull the trigger:

It appears the X1 Ultima AC Charger is currently out of stock, do you have one that's similar that I should consider?
