Guillows Eagle Balsa Plane

Overview:
New "air-superiority" flyer. Has a printed wing, tail surfaces and canopy. Individually packaged in a poly bag.

In 1926, former U.S. Navy aviator Paul K. Guillow launched a line of balsa airplane kits modeled after World War I combat aircraft. His timing couldn't have been better because a year later, Charles Lindbergh completed the first solo flight across the Atlantic, and interest in flying soared — as did demand for Guillow's 10-cent gliders. The brand's Spirit of St. Louis model even earned a spot in the National Air and Space Museum's collection. Today, Guillow is still going strong in Wakefield, Massachusetts, producing millions of miniature planes each year.

Wouldn't a collection of these toy planes be a perfect (and inexpensive!) option for decorating a kids' room?

We have even seen RC conversions of these little guys now that motors, batteries and electronic components have gotten so small and inexpensive.
