The UGears team outdid themselves in creating a masterpiece that looks away from high-end technologies and ultrahigh-speed to go back to the era of traveling by horse-back by giving us a UGears model that joins nature and mechanics together.

This UGears model Horse tells the story about the reliability of the mode of transport in the middle ages before steam and technology took over the world where travelers use strong and fast horses for journeys.

In walking mechanisms designed by many engineers before the balance was realized using additional extremities or other extra-supports. UGears designers paid special attention to the anatomy because it was important to make our Horse quadrupedal. And they found a smarter way to achieve stability in motion. The innovative mechanism of this beauty makes the Bionic Horse a real walking quadruped. All the joints and movements closely resemble those of a real horse, but powered by rubber bands, gears, cranks and gravity. The bionic heart of your horse is a pendulum installed in the chest of the mechanism. The oscillations of the pendulum slow the transmission of energy from the rubber band motor to the movable elements extending the working time of the mechanism.

The mane and tail of the horse are made of flexible rubber bands to flow in the wind as the horse gallops away. When moving, the Bionic Horse shakes its head swaying its soft rubber mane.

The UGears Mechanoid Bionic Horse model kit is made of sustainably sourced high-grade wood and has everything you might need for assembly. The high-grade plywood is cut into different templates by a laser method providing precise hairline cuts. The templates are marked with different colors, and there is a truly easy to follow instructions in 11 languages (English, German, Ukrainian, French, Polish, Spanish, Russian, Turkish, Italian, Chinese and Korean). Assembling requires neither glue nor special tools to turn the parts into a functional horse.

The UGears mechanoid Bionic Horse or Mechanical horse is a tribute to early automatons and the wonderful attempts to create the walking machine by the Ancient Greeks, inventors of Japan and China, and Leonardo da Vinci himself.
