Overview:
With our Trophy Racers, we've reached back in time to the Golden Era racers of the 20's and 30's, then merged those aircraft with a bit of 80's profile design, ending up with a series of models that are quick to build, and great flying designs.

From the start, we've designed our Trophy Racers to be a fun experience, and that includes the build. Everything to complete the airframe is included in the kit and it's all laser-cut to give you great fitting pieces that take the guesswork out of building.

The airframe is strong, sturdy and lightweight all at the same time. We've included laser-cut sheeting to aid in the wing, aileron and tail surface construction. Also included are the parts to quickly and accurately build up the set of wheel pants.

Use either glow or electric power in our Trophy Racers. We've designed the firewall so it can be built in one of two positions to aid in the balance of the model. And speaking of balance, we've also added a set of hidden hatches up-front in case you need to add an extra bit of weight for balance.

• Premium USA Hardware
  Included in each Old School Model Works kit is a premium hardware package. We only source our hardware from brand-name, USA manufacturers to guarantee the best quality.

• Glow or Electric
  The firewall can be mounted in one of 2 positions - one for electric or one for glow.

• WEB-LOCK Construction
  There's nothing else like it. Build our wings, straight and true - with a minimum amount of fuss.

• Tank / Battery tray
  Just behind the firewall is a tray for easy access to fuel tanks, or larger capacity lipo batteries.

• Weight hatches
  Designed into the fuselage are two hidden hatches in case noseweight is needed for balance.

• Pre-Bent Main Gear
  All of our Trophy Racers include a set of pre-bent main landing gear.

Required Radio:
4 channel system
(4) standard servos for ailerons, elevator and rudder
(1) mini servo for throttle (if using a glow engine)

Required Power:
Electric (.40 equivalent brushless motor, minimum 40amp ESC, 4S LiPo)
Glow (.40-.45 engine, 4-6 ounce tank, fuel tubing)
Behind the firewall is a large tray for quick and easy access to your fuel tank or lipo battery packs.

   • 1 servo extension (for left aileron servo)
   • Pushrods (two 7” for ailerons, two 24” for elevator & rudder, one 3-4” for throttle if glow powered)
   • Clevises for the pushrods (8 if electric, 10 if glow)

   • 1 - tailwheel assembly
