The Traxxas Raptor R stops the show with a Ford-licensed body and molded replica parts for maximum scale authenticity. Velineon® brushless horsepower and an extreme heavy duty 4WD driveline give Raptor R performance credentials to match its stunning looks.

Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrades
The Extreme Heavy Duty Upgrade Kit comes pre-installed on Raptor R to withstand the brutal punishment of high-power brushless systems. Made from our toughest cold-weather material, Raptor R’s driveshafts and suspension components are beefed up with extra material and overbuilt construction to form a nearly indestructible driveline.

Clipless Body Mounting
High-flying stunts and 60+mph desert speed runs won’t upset Raptor R’s tough clipless body. Locking tabs hold the body tightly, but release in just seconds to access the chassis. Raptor R’s hidden latching system maximizes convenience and scale realism by removing traditional body clips which would interrupt the body’s clean lines.

Quick Release Battery Compartment
Raptor stows its battery deep in the chassis, behind reinforced sidewalls for maximum protection. A quick-release, dual-height battery mount accommodates a wide range of batteries including long format NiMH and LiPo battery packs. A beefed up latch provides solid locking action to keep batteries safe no matter how wild the action gets.

LED Lighting
Raptor features front and rear LED bumper lighting to extend your fun into the late hours. Impact-resistant bumpers protect the lights against crash damage with fully waterproof construction for all-weather fun.

Molded Scale Details
Raptor sets the standard for scale detail with injection-molded parts for enhanced realism. Unique front and rear bumpers integrate neatly with the body for a clean look and strong impact resistance. The deep-inset front grille features bold Ford lettering and replica marker lights. Tough side mirrors, a hood vent, and rear tailgate panel complete the package.

Clipless Convenience
Raptor’s innovative clipless body features secure mounting with quick and easy removal. No posts, no clips—just drop the body onto the chassis and snap it into place for a secure hold. When it’s time to change the battery, depress the tabs under the wheel wells and lift up to access the chassis in just seconds. Patent Pending.

New Extended 4X4 Chassis
Raptor ’s new extended chassis features a longer wheelbase developed specifically for this application. In addition to ensuring accurate proportions, the longer footprint improves high-speed stability and refines handling. Extra reinforcements in the chassis improve structural rigidity for hard-charging action and high-flying stunts.

Velineon® equals extreme brushless horsepower. The power system is optimized for speed and acceleration, from the patented Traxxas High-Current connector to the custom-wound 4-pole motor. The high-output Traxxas TQi 2.4GHz radio system delivers superior range, 30-model memory, and maximum control. Add sensors and the Traxxas Link Wireless Module, (both sold separately) to send real-time telemetry to your smart phone using the free Traxxas Link app.

Replica Wheels and Tires
Large black chrome wheels faithfully replicate the Raptor’s full-size rims. Licensed BFGoodrich All-Terrain T/A® K02 replica tires come pre-glued to the wheels with raised lettering and authentic tread blocks for enhanced realism.
