This is a set is two (2 Red 2 Black) connectors
Sermos connectors have been very popular with electric airplane and sailplane pilots and were the first low resistance connectors. The contacts in this connector are silver-plated copper. The secret of their success isthe stainless steel leaf spring built into the plastic housing. This spring applies 25 lb of pressure onto the contacts ensuring good, vibration-proof contact - contact resistance has been measured at 600 micro-ohms.
Sermos connectors are genderless, which means any connector can be pluggedinto any other connector. This means electric fliers will have to exercise caution when using a speed controller (however, they are color coded), but has one distinct advantage. If you have two seven cell packs you can usethem separately and still plug them together in series to make one 14 cellpack. Also, these connectors link together side-by-side using keys that aremolded into the side of the housings. When linked together, they arepolarized!
