Go with a lipo instead unless...

I bought this as a returning enthusiast for the 1/16 Traxxas Summit not realizing at the time that I should have bought a lipo battery. The 1/16 Traxxas Summit comes with a battery so I assumed it's a good idea to run 2 packs in it but this is obviously not a lipo battery. However, if you are giving this to a younger enthusiast or child then it's probably better to give them this battery type b/c it is a little safer than a lipo battery.
