Blade InFusion 210 BNF Basic with AS3X and SAFE (BLH01550)
The Blade InFusion 210 BNF Basic with AS3X and SAFE (BLH01550) is a mini electric collective pitch flybarless RC helicopter with a 19.09 in / 485 mm main rotor diameter. It arrives factory assembled and flight tested, and needs a 6-7+ channel Spektrum DSMX/DSM2 transmitter, a 3S 850-1000mAh LiPo with an IC2 connector and a charger to fly. An oversized direct-drive main motor and a carbon fiber and aluminum airframe set it apart from earlier Blade mini helicopters.
The InFusion 210 is an all-new design aimed at intermediate to experienced pilots, with smooth hovering and sport flying on one end and full 3D aerobatics on the other. The Spektrum AR6250MHXF flybarless flight controller runs AS3X in every flight mode with no angle limits, and optional-use SAFE adds angle limits and self-leveling that can be switched on or off at any time from a separate channel.
A brushless direct-drive tail motor and an oversized aluminum tail boom hold the tail through aggressive maneuvers, and a Spektrum Dual Smart Lite ESC sends battery voltage and motor RPM to compatible Spektrum transmitters. The receiver carries a Smart Transmitter File that loads the full setup into NX and iX series radios during binding. Horizon Hobby rates it Skill Level 2, so it is not a first helicopter.

What do I need to fly the Blade InFusion 210 BNF Basic?
The Blade InFusion 210 BNF Basic (BLH01550) needs a full-range 6-7+ channel Spektrum DSMX/DSM2 transmitter that is programmable for helicopters, a 3S 11.1V 850-1000mAh LiPo battery with an IC2 connector and a compatible LiPo charger. The helicopter itself arrives factory assembled with the receiver, ESC, motors and servos installed.
What battery does the Blade InFusion 210 use?
The InFusion 210 (BLH01550) uses a 3S 11.1V 850-1000mAh LiPo with an IC2 connector, Smart or non-Smart. Horizon Hobby recommends an 850mAh 3S 11.1V 30C pack, and batteries with other connectors need a suitable IC2 adapter.
Is the Blade InFusion 210 good for beginners?
No. Horizon Hobby rates the Blade InFusion 210 as Skill Level 2 and says it is not a suitable first RC helicopter, even with optional SAFE. Pilots should already be able to fly collective pitch helicopters such as the Blade 230, 330, Revolution 155 or 235.
How big is the Blade InFusion 210?
The Blade InFusion 210 (BLH01550) has a 19.09 in / 485 mm main rotor diameter and is 17.1 in / 434 mm long and 5.9 in / 150 mm tall. It weighs 10.2 oz / 290 g without a battery and 12.66 oz / 359 g with the recommended 3S 850mAh pack.
Can the Blade InFusion 210 be converted to a belt-driven tail?
Yes. Blade offers the optional Belt Drive Conversion kit BLH-2929, sold separately, for the InFusion 210. It includes a factory-assembled tail assembly driven off the main motor, a digital metal-geared servo and the required hardware.
