Pro Boat Sonicwake 36" V3 Self-Righting V-Hull RTR, Red (PRB-2171T2)
In Stock
The Pro Boat Sonicwake 36" V3 Self-Righting Deep-V RTR in Red, part number PRB-2171T2, is a 36 inch ready-to-run electric RC speedboat with a self-righting deep-V hull and a sealed canopy. On 8S power from two 4S LiPo batteries it reaches 60+ mph.
It comes with a water-cooled Spektrum Firma 1350Kv brushless motor, a Firma 160A Smart brushless marine ESC and a Spektrum SLT3 3-channel transmitter with SR315 receiver. You add two 4S 100C LiPo batteries with IC5 or EC5 connectors and a dual LiPo charger.
If the Sonicwake V3 flips, its flood chamber fills with water in a few seconds and rights the boat without using any power. When you hit the throttle again, the water drains out as the boat moves forward. A rubber gasket around the canopy opening keeps water out of the hull while it is upside down, and the canopy locks down with quarter-turn thumb screws.
The SSL (Strap, Slide, Lock) tray lets you strap both batteries in outside the hull, then slide the tray in until it locks. The bow cone is replaceable and held on by four screws, and the rudder breaks away and swings up if it hits something solid. A dual water pickup in the rudder feeds cooling water to both the ESC and the motor.
Pro Boat rates run time at 3 to 4 minutes of nonstop, open-throttle running on the recommended Spektrum 5000mAh 4S 100C Smart G2 batteries.
